Shopfitting Warehouse is part of Drakes Display - one of the longest established suppliers of shopfittings to the retail trade, anywhere in the world. Daniel Drake started business in 1878 and we are proud of our continuous service to retailers since then. We are still a family business with the company owned and managed by Daniels' great grandson, Peter Drake.

Our client base ranges from Multi-Nationals to private individuals and our aim is to offer the same quality of product and service to all our customers. We also sell to the general public.

Environmental Policy

Shopfitting Warehouse is based close to Poole Harbour in Dorset, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

The Company Environmental Policy aims to protect the environment by minimising the waste of renewable and non-renewable resources and the reduction of energy consumption as part of a continuous improvement programme. Throughout its activities, the Company will endeavour to minimise any adverse impact on the environment in terms of pollution prevention, energy and water conservation.

In pursuit of this policy, the Company believes it can make a difference by:-

Re-using all paper were possible and then recycling it.

Re-using packaging and loose fill materials.

Returning spent toner cartridges and purchasing refilled cartridges.

Using an approved Waste Management company for disposal of office waste.

Using public transport, or walking/cycling whenever possible.

Siting our office in a central location therefore reducing travelling distances for staff.

Keeping office temperatures at the lowest comfortable level.

Regularly servicing heating systems and other equipment to maintain efficiency.

Using local suppliers and developing a local customer base.

Environmental protection and waste minimisation is the responsibility of every employee and should be an integral part of their working life supported by training whenever appropriate.

Customers and suppliers will be encouraged to support the same objectives by minimising environmental impact and waste and reducing energy consumption whenever possible.
