FAQs

How do I order?

Choose your products by category, or use the 'Search' box to look for products by reference number, description or just what you are looking for. Simply type your phrase in the box and the website will return appropriate results. Alternatively, you can click on our sitemap to see the long list of products and categories.

The website is easy to navigate and you always see a link on the top left of your screen under our logo that indicates where you are. This is an active link and you can click on it to go to any step of the navigation process. On the category pages you can view products by clicking on them in order to find out more.

You can simply add products to your basket by clicking on 'Buy' and selecting the quantity you require. Your individual shopping basket always shows at the top right-hand corner of your screen and shows the number of items and current value of your selected products in the basket. You can click on your basket to view it. Once you are viewing your basket you can change quantities, delete products, continue shopping or checkout.

Prices shown on our website are by default displayed in Pound Sterling (£) and excluding VAT. Alternatively, you can change to prices shown in Euro (€) or including VAT by making the required selections at the top righthand corner of your screen. Regardless of your selection for viewing purposes, once you decide to checkout you will be charged in Pound Sterling (£) and including VAT (EU customers with a valid VAT number, please contact us). Delivery charges are applied to your order on the checkout pages and are charged as part of the order total.

How do I pay?

You can make secure payments on our checkout pages by Debit/Credit Card, PayPal and Amazon Checkout. Alternatively, we can arrange for payment by Bacs (please contact us).

All payments are subject to fraud screening and we constantly update our website security measures in line with industry standards.

Do I have to create an account to be able to buy from you?

No, anyone can order from us. However, if you create an account you will be able to benefit from many self-service options that make purchasing from us more convenient. For example, you can enter and edit your address book with your billing and delivery addresses, you can view your order history and use previous order details to make repeat orders, or edit a previous order and use it as the basis for your next order. You also can download invoices and keep track of your orders you placed with us.

What online account features are available?

Creating an online account with Shopfitting Warehouse is easy and free. You can register via the website and an account will be instantly created. You can manage various aspects of your account including your order history, status of current orders and your addresses. You can also re-order previous orders in only 3 clicks (requires payment details to be saved), download invoices and save & manage multiple shopping baskets. What is the 'Join Our Newsletter'?

You can register to our Newsletter for free, which keeps you informed about special offers, product updates and news about Shopfitting Warehouse and our industry. From time to time we also send exclusive offers and promotions only to our subscribers. Use the Join Our Newsletter area on the bottom of the website to subscribe.

Do you sell goods to the general public?

Yes, we do. We are happy to sell goods to businesses and the general public. Every customer can rely on our service and quality products.

What are your delivery charges?

Please see our Delivery page for a full explanation of how the delivery charges are calculated.

When will my order be dispatched?

If you place your order before 5 pm on a working day, your order will be dispatched the same day. If you place your order after 5 pm or on a non-working day, your order will be dispatched the following working day. Please note that this excludes products that have a delivery time of more than 3 days (this will be stated on the product page).

When will I receive my order?

The length of time a product takes to be delivered is stated on each product page. Once you have reached the Basket page and selected your delivery area and shipping method, an estimated delivery date will be shown. Please note that we cannot provide all shipping options for all products and locations. If you require more information, please contact us.

What time will my delivery arrive?

Standard and Next day deliveries to commercial addresses are delivered between 9 am and 5 pm. Standard deliveries to residential addresses are delivered between 9 am and 6 pm. If you have chosen a premium delivery service, your order will be delivered by midday.

Can I track my order?

Yes, you can track your order via the dispatch email you will receive once we have dispatched your order.

What if I'm out when you try to deliver?

If you are unavailable, the courier will leave a card to let you know they have tried to deliver the item to you. They will redeliver the item to you within 7 days of the original delivery date. If your item is being delivered on a pallet service you will be contacted to arrange a new delivery date. Please contact us if you wish to leave instructions for the courier.

Do I need to sign for delivery?

Yes. All our deliveries must be signed for.

Will I be charged per item, package or delivery?

You will only pay one delivery charge regardless of how many items you order, how many packages are delivered or how many deliveries are required to fulfil your order.

Can I change my delivery date or location?

Possibly, depending on the status of your delivery. Please let us know as soon as possible if you require a change to your delivery date or location and we will check with our couriers if this is possible.

My delivery is missing items or items are damaged. What should I do?

Please call us and we will endeavour to resolve the problem quickly. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee and free returns policy. If the goods are delivered and appear not in good condition, they must be signed for as received in damaged condition. If goods are delivered and the number of parcels for the consignment does not add up as per the delivery note, this must be noted when the goods are signed for.

Do you deliver outside the UK and Ireland?

We also deliver to Europe. Please call us on +44 (0)1258 859900 for a delivery quote to your country.

Can I have goods sent to different delivery addresses?

Yes, but each delivery address incurs a separate delivery charge and needs to be ordered separately.

Can I collect my order from your Warehouse?

Yes. Save yourself delivery charges and collect direct from our fulfilment centre at Unit 11/13 Bridge Street, Bailie Gate Industrial Estate, Sturminster Marshall, BH21 4DB. We are open for collections from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday to Friday (except public holidays). If you place your order online and wish to collect on the same day you placed your order, please contact us before you come and collect so that we can make sure everything is ready for you. Some larger items are delivery items only and cannot be collected.

Can I edit my account details?

You can edit all areas of your account except your email address. When you login to your account you can access your account details, which you can edit as required. If you need to edit other information like a delivery address or your payment details you can do so at the checkout stage. Details like billing address, delivery address or payment information can be edited prior to confirming and placing the order.

Can I have a separate billing and delivery address?

Yes, of course. There is the facility to add a separate address for delivery. (Delivery costs are based on the delivery 'postcode' and your shopping cart will update the delivery charge once the system knows your delivery postcode.) If you are in the process of completing your order, don't worry as there is the opportunity to edit all your details just prior to finally confirming your order.

What do I do if I forget my password for my user account?

Click on Your Account / Login as usual and type your email address. Then click on Forgotten Password and the system will send you an email reminding you of your password. You may then login as normal using the password.

I can't find what I'm looking for, what do I do?

You can use our comprehensive search function at the top our website. Type your search phrase, product name etc. in the box and hit enter. The system will return all relevant entries from our website that match your search. You can click on the different results to view them in detail. If you have specific questions or would like to discuss your requirements, please contact us.

How can I cancel my order?

Do the prices shown on your website include VAT?

All items shown and purchased on our website are subject to the current VAT rate, which will be charged at checkout. By default all prices are displayed excluding VAT on our website. However, you have the option to display prices including or excluding VAT. Please make the appropriate selection at the top right-hand corner of our website.

Why is there VAT on delivery charges?

It is a service provided by us and is therefore subject to VAT.
