So when it comes to sorting your stockroom, what comes first?

Multipurpose Boltless Shelving

Built to withstand high weight volumes of up to 350kg UDL (uniformly distributed load) per shelf, our range of multipurpose and heavy-duty warehousing, commercial and industrial shelving is the safe and solid storage you need in a variety of sizes and configurations. Ideal for workshops, stock and storerooms, they are also a resourceful shelving preference for garden centres, DIY stores, hardware shops and other retail outlets supplying heavyweight, over-sized, outdoor or items made of steel, aluminium, brass, or other metals. With its boltless assembly, our black & orange multi-purpose units are really easy and quick to assemble and offer full flexibility with its adjustable shelving feature. Don’t forget to consider the dimensions and quantity of units you will need and consider separate items per shelf to make it easy to find what you need or use part bins to help organise small parts and components. Position units so that you have easy access to locate and access your stock.

Trucks and Trolleys

Need to move around heavy parcels, boxes or bulky products? Use a sack trolley or platform truck to avoid strain and injury. Our range are great value and super durable, withstanding weights of up to 250kg and ensuring all of the heavy-lifting is accounted for.

Racking

For all those large boxes of products, you could also consider warehouse racking – a modular, heavy-duty system for industrial storage. You need incredibly durable units that offer maximum stability and capacity whilst also making it easy for you to organise inventory and to keep track of things. Easily constructed, there is exceptionally strong racking available with varying capacities. Some can support a uniformly distributed load (UDL) of up to 400kg.

Need to store even heavier loads? Our heavy-duty longspan racking is another great option, with our four tier industrial longspan shelving which is able to take up to 850kg UDL per shelf.

Tip: Racking is a great space saver, as it allows you to store multiple items within the same amount of floor space. Higher levels of the racking can be accessed by using a step ladder, kick step or platform truck for heavier articles.

Don’t forget…

Magnetic Shelf Label Holders are designed for metal surfaces like warehouse shelves or containers. They hold printed labels firmly inside and affix very easily to your shelving. Use on each level and print arrows of the direction to signify exactly which location your label relates to. This is a much better approach to handwritten labelling which can be unclear or become illegible over time. Take the time and investment now into making your labelling easy to read and use and save time in the long run hunting for products in the wrong place.
